Side plank (vasisthasana)
This is one of those poses that looks really easy, but is very hard work!
All the instructions are in the video, so I won't repeat them here, but please check the contraindications below before you attempt any yoga.
CONTRAINDICATIONS: Wrist injuries, including carpal tunnel syndrome; shoulder and elbow injuries; high blood pressure.
BENEFITS: Strengthens arms, wrists, legs and core muscles. Stretches and tones the side of the body.
